The results shows that the effects of microwave ablation therapy on lung function are essentially non-existent. This study offers clinical support for the use of microwave ablation in lung therapy.

Prof. Ye Xin’s team recently published a research report, “Changes in the pulmonary function of CT-guided microwave ablation for patients with malignant lung tumors”.

In the report, Prof. Ye Xin proposed a treatment model of “microwave ablation operation time of 30 minutes, postoperative hospitalization of 2 days, and complete recovery of 1 month." Moreover, the concepts of “pin hole operation” and “super minimally invasive operations” are proposed.
