During the Chinese New Year holiday, IGMH collaborated with the Society of Obstetricians and Gynecologists of Maldives (SOGM) to host a groundbreaking gynecological surgical workshop, and has launched the country’s first gynecological surgical workshop. The workshop featured Prof. Xiaoming Gong, a global expert in minimally invasive gynecological surgery and a pioneer in uterine fibroid ablation therapy.

During the event, Prof. Gong successfully performed several microwave ablation cases, including first-in-Maldives cases via abdominal and vaginal approaches for myoma and cesarean scar ectopic pregnancy.
