What an inspiring week in Alexandria! From October 16-17, Canyon Medical, together with our distributor Medilab International, actively participated in the Annual International Congress of the Obstetrics & Gynecology Department (GYN ALEX 2025) in Alexandria. This was immediately followed by our pioneering 1st Gynecological Microwave Ablation Workshop at El Shatby University Hospital, solidifying a strong commitment to advancing women's healthcare in Egypt.

The workshop was a highly impactful event, combining theoretical sharing sessions with four live surgery demonstrations. This comprehensive format showcased the versatility of the Canyon MWA system in treating uterine fibroids and adenomyosis through both ultrasound-guided percutaneous and transvaginal approaches. As a new technology in the region, microwave ablation generated tremendous interest among the physicians, who were keen to learn about this uterus-preserving solution.
